A garden for a family with five children. Materials have been kept to a minimum to bring out the simple, graphical quality of the design. Mature trees surrounding the garden are an important part of the composition. During the day the garden acts as a mirror of nature with the trees casting shadows on the lawn and reflections in the pool. At night the garden takes on an ethereal quality: the pool is lit with fibreoptic hose and the trees dramatically uplit with spotlights.
