SEE NO Evil

Over a week-end in August 2011, world renowned griffiti artists transformed the drab grey frontings and exposed brick exteriors of 1960s Nelson Street in central Bristol into a vibrant exhibition of colour. We were asked to green the street for the event and worked with designer Laura Raynsford, Bristol City Council and a team of volunteers to create swinging moss balls and planted shoes, old vegetable crates filled with meadow plants and seating constructed out of palettes and artificial grass.

Project type: Urban greening project
Location: Nelson Street, Bristol
Services provided: Urban greening concept, installation design, planting coordination and public-realm collaboration
Key features: Swinging moss balls, planted shoes, vegetable crates filled with meadow plants, temporary seating and recycled materials
